Kurita Museum

The museum boasts the largest collection of ceramic artwork in the world through the collection of Imari and Nabeshima ware of the Kurita Museum's founder, the late Kurita Hideo (who passed away in 1996). The structure of the museum is elegant, and it is greatly loved as a place of expectation and praise still today by a number people from all over the world who have affection for the famous pottery on display and pottery in general and to whom the individuality of the museum appeals.
