Stone Mortar Milled Soba at Kodai Mura

At Kodaimura there is a restaurant which uses Nikko stone milled soba flour to make soba noodles which are sold in various soba dishes. The soba carefully grown in the soba fields here is ground into soba flour with a stone mortar and used to make soba noodles. A variety of events are held throughout the year at Kodaimura including a soba festival, concerts, char fries, new soba harvest festivals and photo exhibitions, so please come and visit and participate in some of our many events.
