The Nikko Natural Science Museum is located immediately east of Chuzenjiko Lake alongside the Japan Romantic Highway. The museum exhibits a large number of photos and crafts to introduce the nature and culture of Okunikkko to visitors. The spacious entrance hall has a tourist guidance center which provides information on the nature of Okunikko throughout the 3 seasons as well as guidance on tourist courses. Potential visitors can also enjoy checking information on wildlife, plants and insect on the website before actually visiting the museum.
